The Epson Interactive Projector is a teaching tool that can be utilized in the classroom to connect with students in a more functional way. Unlike a typically white board or overhead projection screen, the Interactive Projector can be used to annotate computer screens and pictures as well as manipulate objects on the screen.
Where Can I Find a Projector?
These boards are found in all classrooms, conference rooms, and seminar rooms in TC.
How Do I Connect to a Projector With My Computer?
There are multiple ways to connect to the projectors in the classroom. You can connect via laptop, iPad, tablet, or iPhone.
To connect to the projector you will first need to utilize the control box/panel and select 'power on' to turn on the projector.
Next you will need to select your method of connection. You can connect wirelessly or with with a VGA cable by using your laptop, or if you are using an iPad you can connect via an HDMI cable. All of the adapters/cables (called dongles) can be retrieved from the iCare corner in TC 208.
- To connect your laptop by using a VGA cable, you will select the laptop button on the control box.
- To connect an iPad by using an HDMI cable, you will select the HDMI button on the control box.
- To connect wirelessly you will need select LAN on the control panel. In order to work with the projector wirelessly, you will need to download the software.
